On Monday, the organizers for the TCS New York City Marathon released the American professional fields that are set to compete in the 2017 edition of the Nov. 5 race.

Last week it was announced Shalane Flanagan would be racing in New York City, her first marathon since the Rio Olympics last year.

Additionally, Kellyn Taylor and Stephanie Bruce, both sub 2:30:00 performers at their best, will toe the line in New York. Other Americans include Aliphine Tuliamuk, who has been a dominant force on the roads, and two athletes making their marathon debuts, Caroline Williams and Tara Welling.

The men's race features three Olympians, most notably Meb Keflezighi. The four-time Olympian is running his final professional marathon at the age of 42. He won the silver medal in the marathon at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He won the New York City Marathon in 2009.

Abdi Abdirahman and Jared Ward also bring Olympic experience to the 2017 edition of the New York City Marathon. All three Olympians have run under 2:12:00 in their careers.

The complete list of Americans competing is here.
