Meb Keflezighi Sets Retirement After 2017 New York City Marathon

Meb Keflezighi, the most accomplished U.S. marathoner in recent history, said Sunday that the 2017 New York City Marathon will be his final marathon, as expected.

Keflezighi, 41, won the 2004 Olympic silver medal, the 2009 New York City Marathon and the 2014 Boston Marathon. He has finished 24 career marathons and has long said he wants to end his career with 26 career 26.2-mile races.
