Britain's Paula Radcliffe will race in the New York City Marathon in November. The 35-year-old world marathon record holder has competed once in 10 months - in the New York half marathon - because of bunion surgery and a broken toe. She withdrew from the Athletics World Championships in Berlin in August four days after her victory in New York. Radcliffe, who is due to return to action in Birmingham on 11 October, will be seeking her fourth New York Marathon win and third in succession.
